The proliferation of the internet and other cutting-edge media is propelling advancement in globalization and a borderless world. As this occurs, the role of the International Field is becoming increasingly important in terms of handling trade activities with overseas and information exchange. Okahata Sangyo is actively engaged in import/export with over 20 countries, beginning with the United States as well as nations in Europe and South East Asia. In doing so, we leverage our marketing capabilities to help Japanese companies expand sales overseas and obtain foreign products as well as to support the entry of foreign companies into Japan. Meanwhile, our logistics capabilities assist Japanese companies with their overseas operations, for example by securing warehousing in Asia. Notably, we have gained the trust of partner companies overseas on the back of extensive experience and knowledge in the fields of intermediates for pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals, resin additives and liquid crystals. In China, we settle accounts in local currency (RMB) and conduct marketing activities in pursuit of business opportunities in a variety of fields. Additionally, we are committed to developing environmentally friendly biodegradable plastics and recycled materials, and aim to create products that are kind to both people and the earth.
